Cacilda Jethá, M.D. is a psychiatrist and Christopher Ryan, Ph.D. is a psychologist. They are co-authors of Lust in Paradise: The Prehistoric Origins of Modern Sexuality to be published in 2009 (Collins).

Cacilda Jethá is a psychiatrist with Indian ancestors who was born in Mozambique and then studied medicine in Portugal. Christopher Ryan (who always dreamed of marrying an exotic woman) is a psychologist, teacher, and author. Together, they've written Lust in Paradise: The Prehistoric Origins of Modern Sexuality, to be published in 2009 (Collins). They live together in Barcelona, Spain.
