Deborah King, attorney, health & wellness expert, and media commentator is the author of the upcoming book Truth Heals: What You Hide Can Hurt You.

Deborah King, author of Truth Heals: What You Hide Can Hurt You (due out from Hay House in early 2009), is an attorney, health & wellness expert, frequent TV commentator, national keynote speaker, and a "healer to the stars."

King was a successful attorney in her twenties when her past caught up with her and she was diagnosed with cancer. Thus began a quest for healing that led her from the corporate arena to the alternative medical field and the world of healers, sages, and shamans. After many years of study, she mastered ancient and modern healing systems and ultimately developed a powerful technique of her own. She is trained in both the mind and the body's health and disease processes, and addresses illness, addiction, depression, relationships, violence, and other ills that plague us all today. King hosts seminars across the country in which she leads thousands to recovery.

Deborah makes frequent appearances on national news and entertainment programs and is known for her insightful and entertaining commentary on the news of the day. Her new book, Truth Heals: What You Hide Can Hurt You, explores the powerful relationship between the suppression of painful emotions and their impact on our health and happiness. Through celebrity profiles and the telling of her own remarkable recovery from an eating disorder, depression, sexual abuse, various addictions, and cancer, Truth Heals illustrates how each of us can transform our lives.
