Joshua D. Foster
Joshua D. Foster is Assistant Professor of Social Psychology at the University of South Alabama in Mobile.
Joshua D. Foster is currently Assistant Professor of Social Psychology at the University of South Alabama (go Jags!) located in Mobile, Alabama. He received his Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Old Dominion University (go Monarchs!), his Master's Degree in Experimental Psychology from Towson University (go Tigers!), and his Ph.D. in Social Psychology from the University of Georgia (go Dawgs!). Prior to his doctoral studies, he spent two years as a data analyst at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (go Jays!).
Foster studies a broad range of topics, including personality, self-esteem, close relationships, evolutionary psychology, motivation, decision-making, sports, and psychometrics. His research, most notably on narcissistic personality, has been published in numerous scholarly journals and books and has received national and international media attention.
