Jyotpal Singh is a Research Fellow at the Baylor College of Medicine Initiative on Law, Brains, and Behavior, a second year Law Student at the University of Houston Law Center, and the Editor-in-Chief of the Houston Business and Tax Law Journal.
Jyotpal Singh studies both law and neuroscience. He is a second year law student at the University of Houston Law Center and the Editor-in-Chief of the Houston Business and Tax Law Journal. In neuroscience, Jyotpal is a Research Fellow working with Dr. David Eagleman at the Baylor College of Medicine Initiative on Law, Brains, and Behavior. Jyotpal's interest in neuroscience and law began during his undergraduate studies. As a student of business management and psychology, Jyotpal was led outside his curriculum to study neuroscience, cognitive science and philosophy in efforts to gain greater understanding of human motivation, behavior, organization and achievement. After attending law school for a year, Jyotpal enrolled in Dr. Eagleman's course at Baylor College of Medicine on Law, Brains and Behavior to learn about the growing intersection of the two fields. After the course, Jyotpal became a Research Fellow and is currently developing experiments and researching as part of the Initiative on Law, Brains, and Behavior.
