Whether one seeks therapy to better cope with a challenging life change or a chronic mental illness, both should have the freedom to do so without fear of being stigmatized. Hopefully, with continued education, awareness and life experience, there will be greater understanding and acceptance of mental health issues, and of the complex relationships between mind, body and spirit.
